The conference is going well so far! There isn’t as huge of a turnout as expected, but our booth is right next to a law firm who have been entertaining us. Gotta love sitting next to another fun booth! It is amazing all the things being given away at this thing: $100 gift card to foot locker, an iPad 2, a Kindle, Don Perignon…it is literally insane. In addition, there are light up pens, candy, cookies, and a ton of other “grab bag” goodies. Of course we had nothing at our booth, so I made the executive decision to use the hotel gift shop to add some swag to our booth.
It ain’t an iPad 2, but I think it is cute! Unfortunately, the main person eating them is me. Boo! I should have put broccoli or carrots out…at least these are “beans”?
Hotel Gym
I am staying at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach…I have been getting some serious usage out of the Hyatt Regency lately! The hotel is nice, but I am once again frustrated by the gym. First of all, it is outside. This would not be a huge deal, but it has been raining lately, and that is just not a lot of fun. Secondly, they aren’t very BIG gyms. Today I wanted to scream because there were so many people in there. All the treadmills and ellipticals were taken, so I hopped on a bike and started pedaling. I do like that each machine has its own TV, so naturally I started watching very “mature” shows like What I Like About You.
Any other fans out there?! Ten minutes later, an elliptical opened up, so I switched over. I really wanted to get on the treadmill, but every time one opened up and I started to go over there…someone snagged it! One of my pet peeves are “hoverers” at the gym—those people who sit and crowd you while you are lifting at a weight machine, or stand right next to your cardio equipment, waiting for you to get off. It is seriously uncomfortable. There was a LOT of that going on today. After about 30 minutes of elliptical (and watching Full House) I was ready get OUT of that fish bowl and headed back up to my room.
For now I am going to have to cut this short because I have one hour to get my sweaty self showered and presentable. Ready, BREAK!

Yep! I found it on ABC Family at the ungodly hour of 6 am! Haha.
I used to watch that show religiously in college!!! It’s supposed to heat up this weekend…hopefully you’ll be around to see the great weather!
I am actually heading out tomorrow!
I wish I would get to stay and have fun. My hotel is right on the beach and it is torture seeing the waves crashing while I am stuck inside.
